We are pleased to announce that Austin Clarke will now be appearing at event #12 - Doing Canada Proud.

Austin Clarke is the author of five short story collections and nine novels, including The Origin of Waves and The Question. In 1999, he won the W.O. Mitchell Prize for his outstanding body of work and his mentorship of other writers. Clarke was born in Barbados and immigrated to Canada in 1955, where he has worked as a journalist and broadcaster, and as a visiting professor at several North American universities. His latest novel is The Polished Hoe.
