A Few Notes
This may be the first time some of your students will be attending an event such as this (live presentation in a theatre space) so we thought it would be helpful and would ensure the enjoyment of everyone to share theatre etiquette information with your students prior to coming to a Festival event.

Please make sure that your students understand that they are expected to remain in their seats for the entire presentation; we suggest a visit to the washrooms prior to seating.

The events are interactive between the authors and students; this means that talking out loud should be directed only to the authors on stage and not to their classmates. To get the most of the Festival experience, encourage your class to ask questions and respond as best they can.
