John Kinsella is the author of more than 30 books. His poetry has
won numerous awards in Australia, and he has held academic posts in Australia,
Britain and the United States. Most recent among his many volumes of poetry
is Peripheral Light: New and Selected Poems, selected and introduced
by Harold Bloom; his next collection, The New Arcadia, is forthcoming
in 2005. He has also written a novel, Genre, and four verse plays,
collected as Divinations.
