In Memorium

The country was deeply saddened when brilliant author and broadcaster Pierre Berton died in November. Pierre spent more than five decades recording the history of Canada and his love for our country, its people and history is evident in his many books. Pierre will be remembered for defining Canada's cultural identity and for his wit, energy and enthusiasm. He was a firm friend and supporter of the Festival and will be greatly missed.
