Ian Weir is an award-winning screenwriter, playwright and novelist. His television credits include the CBC miniseries Dragon Boys, the long-running cbc teen drama Edgemont, and more than 100 episodes for more than 20 series, including Flashpoint, Cold Squad and Beachcombers. He has also written several stage plays, nine three young adult novels. He has won two Gemini Awards, four Leo Awards, a Jessie Richardson Theatre Award and a Writers Guild of Canada Canadian Screenwriting Award.
