The Vancouver International Writers Festival attracts the world's best and most popular writers for readings, forums and discussions. Few cultural events are as engaging, illuminating and frequently hilarious as our Writers Festival. Offering a world of words, the Festival brings writers and over 14,000 readers together for six days each October.

Basic Annual Membership (Individual) – $35 includes:
- earlybird ticket purchasing privileges;
- a discount on Festival tickets;
- personalized membership card;
- an invitation to a members' reception and the 2011 Reading List
- discounts at supporting bookstores (Banyen Books & Sound, Blackberry Books, 32 Books, People's Co-op Bookstore);
- a subscription to Book News, our weekly e-newsletter and INK, our member newsletter (delivered electronically) and
- voting privileges at the Annual General Meeting.
Book Club Friend – $20/person [minimum of 5 people] Includes all of the features detailed in the Basic Membership for each book club member that joins. Please call the office at 604-681-6330 to register your bookclub.
A charitable tax receipt will be issued for donation amounts over $35.
