Miles Without Borders

Looking for a novel way to support the Vancouver International Writers & Readers Festival? Look no further! The VIWF is once again partnered with Aeroplan's Miles Without Borders, a program that enables local organizations to pool donated Aeroplan miles in a self-administered, charitable account.

Thanks to donors who contributed Aeroplan miles in 2011. With your support, we were able to bring esteemed Canadian author Nino Ricci to this year's Festival from Colorado Springs. Nino Ricci was the winner of the Governor General's Award for Fiction in 1990 and 2008 and he was a natural choice for The GG Award Party event to close the 2011 Festival.

We will accept donations of any amount because they all add up. Unfortunately CRA regulations do not allow us to issue tax receipts for these donations.
