School Group Tickets
"Attending an event at the Vancouver Writers Fest is very special, it always inspires reading in my classroom, and the children I teach love coming to Granville Island. This year we went to see three authors from the Seven series and now all my kids are reading their books. It is really special to see a student who has just arrived from the Philippines eagerly reading a book about a piece of Canadian history."
Teacher at Trudeau Elementary
The Festival hosts 34 great events for grades K-12. Events are lively, intimate and thought provoking, with plenty of opportunity for discussion and for audience members to ask questions. The authors at Festival events are carefully selected for their ability to engage students and get them excited about reading.
School group tickets to Spreading the Word school events are $8.50 each. Ticket prices include HST. There are no surcharges on school group tickets. Teachers and adults accompanying school groups must purchase tickets.
