School Group Tickets
School group tickets to Spreading the Word school events are $8.50 each. Ticket prices include HST. There are no surcharges on school group tickets. Teachers and adults accompanying school groups must purchase tickets.
There are three ways to place a request for school group tickets:
- securely online,
- by fax (604 681 8400) using a ticket request form
- in person at Writers Festival Box Office

Subsidies
Cynthia Woodward Development Program: Ticket Subsidies
This program is the result of many years of dedicated fundraising by Cynthia Woodward, whose generous spirit enables us to subsidize tickets for school groups. A limited number of subsidies based on financial need are available. Application details are available here.
Bus Subsidy Fund
The Bus Subsidy Fund is intended to provide local travel assistance to groups of students attending the Festival’s Spreading the Word events, based on financial need. The 2011 program is generously underwritten by donor Bonnie Mah. Application details are available here.
Subsidy applications are accepted from September 12, 2011 and will be assessed on a first‐come‐first‐served basis after September 16th.
